Skip into Summer

Summer has well and truly got its hat on for the majority of the UK, with temperatures set to soar into August, providing us with a lovely warm summer that most of us look forward to.

Perfect time to get those outdoor projects under way.

Whether it’s clearing a shed or garage or tidying the garden, a skip should be your first port of call to get the job rolling.

Having a skip on your driveway or outside your property (be sure to check with your skip provider for availability and price of a road permit) means that the job of throwing things out can be made so much easier. No trips to the local tip, getting the car messed up when cramming old furniture or garden waste into the boot to minimize the amount of trips you make.

To make matters easier, ask a neighbour if they are planning any summer projects, you can both get a bigger skip and half the cost, the cost of getting rid of the waste is cheaper than getting separate skips. Possibly getting to know your neighbours better, you may even want to up-cycle stuff they no longer want, the possibilities are endless.

With kids off school now till September, get them to muck-in too.
