Findaskip Ltd were previously working with Beardwell Construction Ltd providing skip hire services to the former Magistrates Court in Grays, Essex.

It has so far been a very busy project with us having to source large 8 yard and 12 yard skips.  Some of the skips have been on a very quick turn around requiring a wait and load service.

The original buildings are being remodelled and renovated into a thriving business centre, creating 39 new business units for small start up businesses and established businesses.  The self contained offices will be fitted out with the latest fibre-optic connectivity and conference facilities.

The newly refurbished iconic business centre is scheduled to open in mid August.  It will provide a much needed boost for local businesses, creating 200 new job opportunities for the surrounding community.  It will be aptly named “The Old Court House”

The interior of the building will be completely renovated whilst retaining its original external facade.

The Magistrates court in Grays first opened in 1929, it closed it doors in 2011.  The decision to close the court was due to it not being fit for purpose and the court required considerable investment to bring it up to the standard required.  The nearest court now will be Basildon Magistrates Court.

Not all are happy with the court shutting and being transformed into a business centre as now Thurrock residents will have to travel to Basildon Magistrates Court, which will increase the cost of travelling to local people.

Thurrock Council are also planning on creating new business centres in Purfleet and Tilbury.

We have also been providing Beardwell Construction Ltd with skips at the Arthur Bugler Infant School in Stanford Le Hope, since the beginning of the year.  The project involves creating a new entrance, staff room and connecting corridor.
